CONQR is a Yorkshire-based mental health organisation dedicated to creating safe, nonjudgmental spaces where men and women can speak openly, connect with those who understand, and begin the journey toward healing.

We believe no one should face their struggles alone. Our mission is to build a supportive community that stands together in the fight against suicide. Mental health doesn’t discriminate – and neither do we. That’s why we’ve created three core branches, each tailored to the unique needs of the communities we serve:

Conqr mental health support groups for everyone

Men in need together - MINT

MINT (Men In Need Together): Our male-focused branch was created to support men struggling with their mental health. Born from personal loss, MINT exists to break the silence around male suicide and offer a space where men can speak freely without judgement. Whether it’s depression, anxiety, grief, or everyday pressures, MINT provides brotherhood, understanding, and real connection.

empowher

EmpowHer: This is our women’s branch, created to offer a safe space for women to share openly and support one another through life’s challenges. EmpowHer brings women together to talk honestly about mental health, build emotional resilience, and uplift each other. It’s about being heard, being seen, and being supported.

VINT (Veterans In Need Together): Designed for ex-service personnel, VINT is a space for veterans to connect, decompress, and receive support from people who understand military life and the struggles that can follow it. VINT honours their service by offering a community where they can speak freely, process trauma, and access meaningful help.

Together is how we heal

Across all branches, Conqr mental health support groups are welcoming, pressure-free environments. There’s no expectation to speak or act a certain way – just an invitation to be yourself and be supported.

These groups are more than just meetings; they’re places where people form lasting friendships, rebuild confidence, and find hope.

But our impact doesn’t stop at support groups. CONQR is deeply rooted in the community. We run a variety of events and outreach projects to support people beyond mental health. Some of our community initiatives include:

  • Running food banks to support families in need.
  • Hosting Christmas grottos to foster joy and connection during the holidays.
  • Organising awareness campaigns, hikes, coffee mornings, and more – all designed to reduce stigma, raise mental health awareness, and bring people together.

These events help break down barriers, create moments of happiness, and ensure that people across our communities feel seen, valued, and supported.

At its heart, CONQR is about connection. We bring people together not only to talk, but to heal, grow, and support one another through life’s darkest moments. We’re not here to offer a quick fix – we’re here to walk beside you, to listen, and to remind you that you are never alone.

Whether you attend a support group, volunteer, or simply follow our journey, you’re part of something bigger: a movement built on empathy, strength, and unity.
Together, we CONQR.
