Hi, I’m Chloe, and I run Cogan’s Canine Care here in South Leeds. Before starting this business, I spent many years working as an adult social worker. Caring for people has always been at the heart of who I am. When I lost my mum unexpectedly in 2022, I knew I wanted to create something that honoured both her name and my own values: Kindness, Compassion, and Community.
Cogan’s Canine Care is about more than dog walking. It’s about providing peace of mind to the people who love them. Dogs are part of the family, and it matters to know they are safe, happy, and cared for when you can’t be there.
I’m here to support in whatever way you need. For elderly owners, I help make sure they can continue enjoying the companionship of their beloved dogs. For busy health and social care staff, I provide flexible care that fits around unpredictable shifts. For those heading back into the office after years of working from home, I offer dogs company, exercise, and love. And for anyone with last-minute plans or unexpected emergencies, I can often step in at short notice.
I understand just how important pets can be for our mental health. Dogs bring joy, comfort, and routine into our lives. By helping people care for them, I’m also supporting owners’ wellbeing. Sometimes, knowing your dog is happy and looked after can be the greatest relief of all.
For me, Cogan’s Canine Care is more than a business. It’s a way of weaving together my passion for dogs, my background in social care, and my commitment to community. Every walk, visit, and wagging tail is a chance to make life brighter for both dogs and their humans.
